A paper cup – such common and well known thing, but do you really know everything about it?
Did you know that a paper cup is not actualy made from paper?
Most of the paper cups are produced from paper board with polyethylene (PE) coating. Some of the paper cups are produced from paper board with bio-plastic (PLA) coating and presented as eco-friendly product. In both cases – such paper cups are not truely paper cups, as they are qualified as disposables from combined materials. This kind of disposable paper cups are quite unfriendly in terms of sustainability and ecology.
We say – don‘t give up on the paper cups!
